What is a board-certified dermatologist?

A board-certified dermatologist is a DO or MD that has completed four years of medical school, one year of internship, three years of dermatology-specific training from an ACGME-accredited residency program, and has achieved board certification through the American Board of Dermatology, the American Osteopathic Board of Dermatology, or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. A board-certified dermatologist has the training and expertise to provide the best possible skin, hair, and nail outcomes for patients while taking steps to ensure their health and safety.

What is a D.O.?

Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine, or DOs, are fully licensed physicians who practice in all areas of medicine. Emphasizing a whole-person approach to treatment and care, DOs are trained to listen and partner with their patients to help them get healthy and stay well. In addition to traditional medical training that MDs receive, DOs receive special training in the musculoskeletal system, your body's interconnected system of nerves, muscles and bones. Osteopathic physicians focus on prevention, tuning into how a patient's lifestyle and environment can impact their wellbeing. DOs strive to help you be truly healthy in mind, body and spirit -- not just free of symptoms.

What can I expect at my first appointment?

At your first appointment, as our namesake implies, we offer you a full-body skin examination. Our staff will greet you warmly and you'll be seen first by our medical assistant, who will escort you to the examination room and get to know some details about your medical history and your concerns or goals. From there, you'll meet directly with Dr. Conde for a full-body skin examination and a specific exam for the reason(s) for your visit. From there, Dr. Conde will make specific treatment recommendations and the entire Comprehensive Center for Dermatology staff will guide you in next steps and follow up procedure.

See our new patient portal here.

For what age ranges do you provide pediatric dermatology treatment?

How much are your Botox® treatments or other cosmetic services?

Because everyone is different, all of our cosmetic services include a consultation in order to determine your specific needs and goals. From there, we'll share a treatment plan that includes a price breakdown for all of the services and/or treatments we recommend.
